July Non-Profit Pressing Needs

We have many registered organizations here at MyCause Water, and we would like to share some of their most pressing needs for this month. If you are interested in getting involved and helping these organizations, please contact them to see what you can do to help!

The Center for Children,  a non-profit founded in 1989, is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse and the promotion of positive mental health through crisis intervention, therapy and education. We are in need of assistance with the following items for our mental health outpatient clinics including: art supplies for children, dollhouses, and children’s tables and chairs as well as someone to repair our wallpaper. In addition, we do need newer computers and laptops for our clinicians. We sincerely appreciate the community’s support. To learn more, www.center-for-children.org.

Golden Retriever Rescue of Southern Maryland can save more goldens if we have more foster families. Foster families provide care, training and love to a golden until his or her furever family is found. All expenses for vet care, food and supplies are paid for by the rescue. We often need families who do not have another dog to provide care for a golden who is recovering from surgery, heartworm treatment or prefers human companionship to canine companionship. If interested in learning more about fostering go to www.goldenretrieverrescueofsouthernmaryland.org or call 855.477.3728.

Pressing needs for Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Highland, Maryland include repayment of our mortage for debt reduction and raising funds for additional capital improvements in the older areas of our building. Visit www.mtzionhighland.com.
